Ferguson played in only twelve games for the Broncos last season, landing on the injured reserve in December with knee issues. Houston plans to meet with cornerback Andre Dyson on Friday. Dyson had 12 tackles and one interception for the Jets in 2007.

The Jets and wide receiver Laveranues Coles agreed to terms on a contract extension on Thursday, according to the New York Post. The terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed, but it is believed that two or three years were added to a deal that had a pair of seasons remaining. Coles was critical of the team earlier this offseason because it did not appear as though the Jets were going to honor his request for a new deal.

The New York Giants have extended the contract of left guard Rich Seubert, according to The Sports Network. The Cleveland Browns have agreed to terms with free-agent linebacker Shantee Orr, according to the NFL Network. Orr is a six-year veteran and has appeared in 50 games so far in his career, with both the Texans and Jaguars. He is expected to replace Chaun Thompson, who signed with Houston last week.

The Falcons have agreed to terms with Jason Elam, the record-setting kicker who is leaving Denver after 15 seasons with the Broncos. Elam confirmed the four-year, $9M deal in a telephone conversation.

The Packers have re-signed safety Atari Bigby to a one-year tender, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Bigby doesn't have enough years of service in the NFL to qualify for either restricted or unrestricted free agency, making him an "exclusive rights" free-agent. The Denver Broncos reached an agreement with free-agent center Casey Wiegmann for a two-year contract on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Adam Schefter. He has started 136 games in twelve NFL seasons, including an active streak of 111 straight starts.

The Raiders and DeAngelo Hall agreed to terms Thursday on a $70M, seven-year deal that paves the way for the cornerback to be dealt from Atlanta to Oakland, a person familiar with the talks said and as reported by the Associated Press. Hall arrived in the Bay Area to meet with Raiders' owner Al Davis and other team officials Wednesday, and the deal was completed the following day, the person said on condition of anonymity because an announcement had not been made. Hall will be guaranteed a little more than $24M in the new deal, the person said.

The Packers agreed to a two-year, $5.4M deal with free-agent linebacker Brandon Chillar, according to an Associated Press report. Chillar?s agent Jim Ivler said Wednesday the contract contains incentives that could raise its overall value to $6.4M.
